As the world's largest food and beverage company, Nestlé has plenty of opportunities for you to make an impact through the work you do in a truly global business.
Waste reduction
Reducing packaging and food waste

Packaging helps to protect food and beverages, ensure product quality and freshness, communicate nutritional information and prevent food waste.
However, these essential requirements should not come at the expense of the planet. That's why reducing waste, managing recovered materials and increasing recyclability and circularity are critical. Our vision is ambitious: a world in which none of Nestlé's packaging, including plastics, ends up in landfill or as litter.
Packaging is also an important component in tackling the global challenges of food waste. We are considering our own operations, collaborating with industry peers and educating consumers.

Innovation becomes the driving force in our quest to reduce packaging waste. The way we design our products and packaging, the efficiency of our operations, and our efforts to encourage consumer behaviour change are all ways we support a sustainable future. We aim to transform challenges into opportunities, harness the power of innovation, and pave the way towards a waste-free world.
