Nestlé Professional is expanding its successful ‘Celebrate Australia’ campaign by providing three small businesses or community groups an opportunity to win $10,000 each to invest in a local community initiative.

The Nestlé Professional Serve Your Community Promotion is open to local community organisations from around the country who are seeking support for a project, initiative or program that will have a positive impact on their community.

Nestlé Professional General Manager, Kristina Czepl, said: “Local businesses have always been a part of the fabric of Aussie communities, often knowing their towns better than anyone else.  We want to recognise these organisations by contributing to local initiative’s that will serve and support their community.”

“At Nestlé Professional, we are proud to continue our partnership with Rotary to help support the people, businesses, and communities of Australia through Serve Your Community. After all, the communities of Australia power us too, especially ones like Gympie in Queensland, where Nescafé is made, or Smithtown in New South Wales, the home of Milo,” says Kristina Czepl.

To enter the Serve Your Community Promotion, you must be a business, club or community organisation that has been operating for two or more years and have less than 100 full time employees. The online application form has four simple questions and requires an outline of the initiative your business would invest $10,000 in, to better serve the local community.

Entries will be judged on how the initiative brings together and celebrates a diverse group of people, has the potential for growth, and how it will have a positive impact on the broader community.

All entries will be reviewed by representatives from the Nestlé Professional and Rotary teams of Australia.

Three businesses or organisations will each get a major prize of $10,000 cash to invest in their community initiative. Ten other highly commended entrants will win a minor prize pack, valued at $1,390 per prize.

*The competition is now open and applications will close at 11.59pm AEDT on 24 March 2023.

*Open to SME business, club or community organisations in AU. Individual entrant must be 18+ and have authority to enter promotion on behalf of business. Entries judged based on judging criteria 27.03.23 and winners notified by 07.04.23. Promoter is Nestle Australia Ltd. Celebrating community spirit

Nestlé Professional has partnered with Rotary in Australia for the past two years. The partnership saw the launch of a limited edition range of Nescafé Blend 43 and Milo, uniquely Australian brands that have been enjoyed by Aussies for generations, with the tins featuring illustrations of regional towns and community events across Australia.

Local Rotary Clubs in the selected towns each received a $5,000 grant from Nestlé Professional to invest in a community initiative important to each town. These initiatives have included providing food supplies in disadvantaged communities, supporting a project supplying medical equipment to the Alice Springs Hospital Paediatric Ward, to providing shelter and seating around popular town walking tracks.

Nestlé Professional also donated a portion of tins to each town’s local Rotary Clubs; to serve at local community events to on-sell, or donate, with profits going to each Club, for their community.
