Investigations indicate only a small number of products are possibly affected and any safety risk to consumers is negligible, however out of an abundance of caution, the product is being recalled.
Allen’s spokesperson, Andrew Lawrey said, “The safety of our consumers always comes first. This recall is a precautionary action, taken in line with our rigorous quality standards. We moved quickly to notify authorities and inform retailers as soon as we became aware of the issue.
“If you have purchased any of these products, please return it to the place of purchase for a full refund,” Mr Lawrey said.
