Nestlé is committed to making Easter sweeter for you. That’s why we’ve established right-sized packaging with our Easter Caskets range, saying "Hello Easter Fun, Goodbye Excess Packaging!" By thoughtfully redesigning our packaging to use less material, we’re helping reduce packaging waste without compromising on the joy and quality of your Easter treats.
Our journey began by assessing every element of our packaging to identify opportunities for meaningful reductions. With innovations in design and a focus on sustainability, we've created right-sized boxes for our Easter caskets range that are easy to recycle and avoid the rigid plastic packaging traditionally used for Easter caskets. How to recycle ?
At Nestlé, we’re making it easier for you to recycle responsibly with clear instructions through the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) on our Easter Caskets. Here’s how to properly dispose of each packaging component of your favourite Easter Casket!
- Box – AU & NZ: The box is fully recyclable in both Australia and New Zealand. Simply flatten the box and place it in your kerbside recycling bin.
- Foil – AUS: In Australia, the foil is recyclable. Make sure to scrunch the foil into a ball (about the size of a golf ball) to prevent it from getting lost in the recycling process, then place it in your kerbside recycling bin.
- Foil – NZ: In New Zealand, the foil is not currently recyclable through kerbside systems. Please dispose of it in your general waste bin.
