A common cause of this problem is moisture pickup by the product - this has caused the lozenge wrappers to adhere to the lozenge and thus made them difficult to remove. Our factories and warehouses are climatically controlled, so it is likely to have occurred at some point after it has left our manufacturing and warehousing premises.
