Over the years, our perception of what constitutes a serve, or a portion of food has been slowly increasing. The result of this is that we are eating more and more.
Nestlé provides support to consumers to help them balance their diets. As part of our continuous improvement we are renovating our products and packaging so that they provide clear portion guidance. Be it as clear portion communication on pack, or packaging and product format enablers, our goal is to make eating the right amount and frequency as easy as possible.
As part of the Nestlé staff wellness program our employees across our factories and offices participate in the Global Corporate challenge. In the evaluation report 65% of participants said that they think their portions sizes are too big. The Nestlé Portion Plates were distributed to all staff as part of our Nutrition Training initiative.
