This collaboration brings together Nestlé’s purpose to unlock the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come with OzHarvest’s mission to “Nourish Our Country.” It’s a shared vision that’s already delivering impact.
From Sydney to Adelaide, Melbourne to regional communities, our partnership is helping deliver:
- Over 400,000 meals annually to Australians in need. Every dollar donated through our partnership provides two nourishing meals, helping bridge the gap for the many Australians who go without food each month.
- Support for food waste reduction—championing industry efforts and encouraging Australians to minimise food waste at home through practical tools and awareness campaigns.
- Nutrition and cooking education programs that build lifelong skills and promote healthier food choices.
- Volunteering opportunities for Nestlé employees to give back through OzHarvest’s initiatives such as Cooking for a Cause, food rescue van rides, and support at OzHarvest Markets.

Make a Meal, Donate a Meal Program
Inspired by OzHarvest’s Cooking for a Cause, we launched the Nestlé Make a Meal, Donate a Meal program—an initiative that brings our purpose to life through hands-on action. Held monthly at our Sydney headquarters, the program invites employees to prepare two nourishing meals: one to enjoy with their families and one to donate to OzHarvest’s Waterloo Market, supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Each session uses commonly wasted ingredients to highlight our commitment to sustainability and responsible food practices. More than a cooking activity, it’s a meaningful way for our people to connect with community impact, build team spirit, and support those doing it tough.
