Valentine’s Day heartbreak: KitKat to blame?

Back to Press releases

For more than 70 years, KitKat has been asking chocolate lovers to ‘Have A Break’.

But with news that Valentine’s Day is one of the most common times for couples to break up, have we taken it too far?

In honour of sticking with your better half, KitKat has launched the limited edition KitKat Duo, a new chocolate that celebrates togetherness, whether for love or friendship.

The new KitKat Duo combines two delicious flavours in one bar that are just meant to be eaten together for the ultimate chocolate experience.

Nestlé Head of Marketing for Confectionery Anna Stewart said, “Somethings are just meant to be together. Like Beyoncé and Jay Z, they’re fabulousalone but fantastic together.”

“Each Kit Kat Duo brings together two terrific flavoursinto one bar. Individually they’re scrumptious – but even more delicioustogether.”

The new KitKat Duo range includes Tiramisu, which alternates fingers of smooth mascarpone-flavoured white chocolate with fingers of espresso-flavoured milk chocolate – great alone but when eaten together they give a delicious tiramisu taste.

KitKat Raspberry Cheesecake features two great flavours; one finger features delicious raspberry and the other delectable cheesecake.

So don’t break up this Valentine’s Day - find someone you are better together with.
