From the home of good food and high fashion, two Melbourne-based pop culture icons have joined forces to call on Aussies to wear their passion for chocolate with pride.
KITKAT CHOCOLATORY has collaborated with Australian designer and iconic acces-sories creator, Georgia Perry, to launch the ‘Georgia Perry for KITKAT CHOCO-LATORY’ range, available exclusively at KITKAT CHOCOLATORY in Melbourne Cen-tral.
The collaboration is the first ever accessories collection for KITKAT CHOCOLATORY, bringing together Georgia’s love of chocolate and some of her signature pop icons, which portray prosperity, celebration and discovery.
Famous for her eye-catching scarves, Georgia has created a vibrant silk version for her first collection, featuring KITKAT bars, Melbourne trams, and cherry blossoms. The KITKAT fortune cat sits in the middle of the scarf, representing prosperity, while rocket ships, constellations, fireworks and rainbows represent discovery and celebration.
The collection also includes a stylish tote, three statement enamel pins (a rocket, a KITKAT bar and the KITKAT lucky cat), a collectable tin and personalised packag-ing for Create Your Break creations – personalised KITKAT bars that consumers can design in-store.
To celebrate the launch of the range, the first 50 fans to visit KITKAT CHOCOLATO-RY on launch day, Saturday 19 August at 10am, and purchase an item from the collection, will receive all three enamel pins as a gift.
On launch day, visitors will also be able to get their hands on an exclusive one day only flavour - Georgia Perry for KITKAT CHOCOLATORY Limited Release: premium white chocolate infused with crushed raspberries, crisp batch baked wafers & topped with caramelised meringue.
Commenting on the launch of the collaboration, Georgia Perry said: “Visiting KIT-KAT CHOCOLATORY was like entering a chocolate wonderland – you can even de-sign your own customised KITKAT bars. You like sweet AND savoury? Fruity AND crunchy? Go for it! So fun.
“After my visit, I decided to create a series of icons that represent the fun and fla-vourful KITKAT universe, and we’ve brought them to life across some beautiful ac-cessories and stylish packaging."
Georgia’s imaginative style has inspired the creation of a range of six Single Finger KITKAT Special Editions by KITKAT CHOCOLATORY Head Chocolatier, Connie Yuen.
For a limited time, KITKAT fans can get their hands on delectable delights such as Cinnamon Doughnut, Hazelnut Pretzel Butterball and Tropical Delight. The unique bars are exclusively available in a celebratory gift tin which comes wrapped furo-shiki* style, using the Georgia Perry for KITKAT CHOCOLATORY scarf.
