The team at Allen’s lollies haves officially gone bananas and covered their beloved banana lolly in delicious milk chocolate. Creating the perfect bite sized treat, the new Allen’s Mini Chocolate Bananas are a mouth-watering combination of creamy chocolate and banana flavour.
The twist on a classic will not only melt-in-your-mouth, but they are also gluten free and have no artificial colours and flavours.
To celebrate the launch of the new Allen’s Mini Chocolate Bananas, the Allen’s team have covered the legendary Big Banana in a chocolate-like syrup. For the first time in its history, the 13-metre-long and 5-metre-high landmark got a makeover as a chocolate-like syrup was poured over the banana to resemble the new bite-sized creation. But don’t worry, the team at Allen’s has saved the real chocolate for the mini bananas.
Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery, Joyce Tan, said: “Allen’s bananas have always been a stand-out favourite in our lolly range, and we know our fans who like them, really LOVE them! However, we know the unique texture and bold banana flavour might not be for everyone, but now that they’re covered in chocolate, we don’t know how anyone could resist?!
“The product launch follows the phenomenal success we saw with Allen’s Mini Chocolate Raspberries, which was a sell out earlier this year, proving that whether it’s Allen’s bananas or ripe raspberries, lollies and chocolate are the perfect match.”
Allen’s Mini Chocolate Bananas (RRP $4.50) are available in the chocolate aisle nationwide in Coles and independent stores, along with the rest of the new Allen’s Bites range, including the Allen’s Mini Chocolate Raspberries, Milkybar Cookie Bites and KitKat Snak It.
