Q: What are the formulation changes?
A:
In Australia and New Zealand there are regulations, set by Foods Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), that guide what we can and cannot say about our products on food labels and in advertisements. As a result of these regulations, we are unable to call out the specific changes to our products. We encourage you to contact our Careline if you have any questions about the new formulation.

Q: Why did you change the formulation?
A:
At Nestlé we strive to continuously improve our products, and we believe the changes we have made do improve these products. All ingredients and levels of ingredients in infant formula products are regulated by the Food Standards Code developed by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). When changes are made to our recipe we ensure these changes comply with the Food Standards Code.

Q: Will any of these changes affect my toddler?
A:
We know that our products are safe for toddlers, however a sudden transition between products may result in some toddlers not tolerating the change well. You can help your toddler better adapt to a new feed by introducing it gradually. Alternating between the old and new feed may ease the transition
If you have any concerns about your toddlers health or would like further advice, please consult your healthcare professional.

Q: Will I notice a change in my baby’s bowel movements after moving to the new formulation?
A:
It is normal for a toddler’s bowel motion to change in response to a change in diet. It is important to introduce a change to your toddlers feed gradually. Alternating between the old and new feed may help with this process. Parents may be better prepared for possible changes in toddlers bowel movements by understanding all the factors which can affect what comes out.
