Key Changes for the Standard Range
Key changes for the Standard range include:
- New packaging - To help you easily identify and select your favourite MAGGI 2-minute noodle pack;
- Recommended retail price reductions - We have decreased our RRP*, across our range to offer you a more affordable snack;
- Reduction in oil content - The overall weight of the product has been decreased by 14g, 12g of which is due to a reduction in oil. This means that we can offer you a more affordable and healthier snack!
- A new delicious taste - We have also improved our recipe for better flavour.

Key Changes for the Extra Delicious Range
Changes for the Extra Delicious range include:
- New packaging - To help you easily identify and select your favourite MAGGI noodle on shelf;
- New name - We have renamed the range from ‘Extra Delicious’ to ‘99% Fat Free’;
- Recommended retail price reductions - We have decreased our RRP* across our range to offer you a more affordable snack;
- Product serving changes - We have reduced the product’s overall weight by between 5 -7g (depending on the variants) so that we can continue to offer you an affordable snack;
- Product condiments - In response to consumer feedback, we have removed the vegetable sachet, but our 99% Fat Free range is still a great tasting snack that is low in fat.

Why the Change?
FEEDBACK FROM YOU!
- You told us that our packaging was confusing and you found it hard to find your favourite MAGGI Noodle at the supermarket – so we have simplified the packaging to make it easier for you to shop;
- We wanted to give you a better choice, so our Fat Free or Standard noodles are all at the same lower recommended retail price, giving you more options!
- We know that many of you didn’t use the vegetable sachet, so we have removed it, letting us decrease the price and increase its relative affordability.
When will the change come into effect?
- Our new packs and Recommended Retail price points will be available early - mid April 2010
