PURINA HAS DONATED much-needed pet supplies, including collars, leads, crates, bowls and food.

PURINA has come to the aid of pets that have been affected by the devastating bushfires in NSW.

Working with Animal Welfare League Australia (AWLA) in NSW and the RSPCA, PURINA has donated much-needed pet supplies, including collars, leads, crates, bowls and food. The donated items are being used by families impacted by the crisis and temporary housing centres.

PURINA General Manager, David Grant, said our donation was part of our ongoing commitment to AWLA, which takes in animals that are neglected, abused or abandoned.

“Our ongoing partnership with AWLA includes food supplies, corporate donations and volunteering events. It was natural for us to continue our support during this crisis,” said David.

In addition to donations, PURINA has also posted tips on its Facebook page to assist pet owners during this time.

“A big thank you to the Digital, Petcare Advice Centre and Warehouse teams for their efforts to make all of this happen,” said David.

PURINA will continue to liaise with local animal agencies to determine the best way it can continue to support the important work of helping animals in need.
