The resources and products  provided by Nestlé prove to be useful in educating athletes, helping them to  practically achieve their nutrition goals and provide funding for vital department projects."




Andrea Brakkhuis was the Nestlé Fellow in Sports Nutrition at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2001.

Andrea worked with the AIS basketball team, AFL, camp groups and travelled with the indigenous touch football team whilst undertaking the fellowship at the Australian Institute of Sport. She also completed a research project looking at the variability in analysing food diaries, which had been commenced by the former nutrition fellow.

Andrea currently lectures in sports nutrition at The Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand. She also consults to the NZ Academy of Sport working with athletes competing in rowing, cricket, rugby and netball.

Claire Reilly

Claire Reilly worked with the best Sports Dietitians and Exercise Scientists in Australia, during her 2003 fellowship. Claire was also able to provide nutrition advice to elite AIS athletes which was an incredibly experience.

Louise Bell

Louise Bell

Louise Bell was the Nestlé Fellow in Sports Nutrition at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2002. Her role at the AIS was to provide nutrition support to the Men's and Women's Basketball programs, as well as the AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Sailing programs.

Kelly Meredith

Kelly Meredith

As Nestlé Fellow in Sports Nutrition at the Australian Institute of Sport in the year of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, Kelly Meredith's primary role was to provide nutrition support to the Men's Basketball Squad, and nutrition information lectures and workshops to all visiting sporting groups.

Ben Desbrow

Ben Desbrow

Whilst working at the Institute, Ben Desbrow has been involved in numerous activities such as nutrition servicing to athletes on campus, conducting nutrition workshops while managing numerous research trials.
